Jewellery Care Instructions
Every Complete. Studio jewellery piece comes with a complimentary organic cotton pouch bag and a polishing cloth for storing your jewellery. To keep your jewellery looking it's sparkling best we have come up with some tips below.
General Care
- Always protect your jewellery from make-up, perfumes, chemicals, sunlight or extreme heat/ cold.
- Take care your jewellery while you are doing some physical work such as cleaning, gardening and exercising.
- Remove jewellery when you are in shower or in bath. This is also important when on the beach or swimming pool.
- Jewellery will age and tarnish naturally so please clean regularly and store them in a discrete place. If you want to keep your piece in excellent condition, clean using a professional jewellery cleaning product.
Storage
- To maintain the best look of your jewellery and to reduce scratching, please store items separately with any sealed bags or jewellery boxes. Store it in somewhere away from sunlight and humidity.
Wear
- After each use of the jewellery, please clean it with the polishing cloth and put it back into the jewellery bag.
Cleaning

To clean your jewellery more thoroughly, soak it in a diluted solution of mid dish washing liquid and warm water for three minutes then dry it using a soft cotton cloth.
Special Care for Different Materials
Gold Filled
“Flaking, rust, allergy happen less than 1%”
A 14K Gold-filled piece is a strictly regulated process that involves pressure bonding multiple layers of solid 14k gold with extreme heat over a core of high-quality jeweler’s brass. It consisted of at least 5% 14k gold by weight, they are long-lasting and will stand up to be worn every day for a lifetime, especially with a little care.
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, body lotions, sprays, or other chemical products
- You can wear jewelry when bathing and showering, but we do recommend you remove it in saltwater or chlorine
- Clean using warm water regularly and a soft cloth to pat dry
- Gently wipe with Complete jewelry polishing cloth every now and again to promote shine
- Jewelry should be stored away separately
Gold Plated
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, body lotions, sprays or other chemical products
- Avoid direct sunlight, heat or cold, especially stay away from humidity
- Keep dry, remove jewelry when bathing, showering or swimming
- Gently wipe with Complete jewelry polishing cloth every now and again to promote shine
- It is natural for gold plated jewelry to fade over time due to exposure to different chemicals
- Jewelry should be stored away separately
Sterling Silver
- Sterling silver requires special care to preserve its color and appearance
- Avoid direct contact with perfume, body lotions, sprays or other chemical products
- Immerse the sterling silver in water and mild hand wash/ dish washing liquid, dry thoroughly after exposure to water
- Gently wipe with Complete jewelry polishing cloth after each use to promote shine
- Jewelry should be stored away separately
