General Principles
The values of Complete. Studio is reflected by this Code of Conduct & Ethics .
A guideline of our version to correct business behavior is made by this code of conduct, based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, key UN principles and International Labour Organization (ILO) conventions.
To own a Code of Conduct (like state-owned and larger private-owned enterprises are) is not legally mandated by our organization, on the contrary, our production is needed to be transparent. As an internal guideline and also an external statement of the company's values and commitments, this code is of great value.
The situation of a balanced and lasting relationship between Complete. Studio and our suppliers results from the Code, which is in the knowledge and respect of the respective rights and duties of each party.
Our suppliers and sub-suppliers are expected to commit to the same principles, when signing this Code of Conduct. The purpose of it is to ensure ethical and sustainable production for all parties and ensure the wellbeing surroundings, involving all workers and animals.
As is known to all, working to implement these principles is a challenging process. However, we wish to continue to build a long-term business partnership with those suppliers who continuously pursue to implement these principles within their business.
It is essential for Complete. Studio to show transparency and declare all production units to Complete. Studio upon request to the suppliers. In addition, the updated information is required on a regular basis. The supplier are not expected to be perfect, but to be honest, so as to work towards better solutions for us. Transparency is essential for Complete. Studio in order that we can work towards a more sustainable supply chain.
The requirements of this Code apply to all factories, used by Complete. Studio and all of their workers working within those factories, despite of their status or relationship with suppliers. Therefore, it also extends to workers who are engaged informally, on short-term contracts or on a part-time basis.
Suppliers shall adhere to the higher requirements, according to differences between the terms of this Code of Conduct and national laws or other applicable standards. Meanwile, suppliers must inform Complete. Studio immediately in condition of detection in conflicts between national law and this Code of Conduct.
Supply Chain Management
Proper management system should be ensured by suppliers that the principles of this Code of Conduct are not violated and that continuous improvements are implemented. It partly includes performing your own risk-assessments and self-assessments of all production units.
Please send the documentation to Complete.Studio, in case that the supplier is certified (eg REACH, OEKO-TEX, GOTS etc.), or external or internal audits are carried out, and also social / environmental policies are available.

Human Rights and Labor Rights
Forced labor:

Suppliers are forbidden to use forced, prisoned or illegal labor in any of our supplier’s production units.

Workers don’t need to leave any sort of deposit and/or ID/passport when hired by the factory.

In the beginning of working at the factory, the worker shall always sign a contract,written in a language that the worker understands.

According to national law, it is the right for the worker to terminate the employment .

Overtime should be voluntary throughout.
-
If/when necessary, the access to toilets, water and praying rooms are free to workers at all times.

It isensured by suppliers that all feasible measures are taken to prevent workers from falling into debt bondage through company loans.
Freedom of Association:

The right of workers to join, form or not to join trade unions of their choice without fear of intimidation, reprisal or harassment should recognized by suppliers .

The supplier should include collective bargaining with legally recognized employee representative.

In condition that law restricts unions, worker committees, from which workers have the opportunity to, collectively express their grievances directly to the management, and the formation from it should be encouraged and not prevented by the supplier .
Working hours and Compensation:

Working hours,including overtime hours should always be kept within the limits of national law but no higher than 60 hours per week.

Workers should work at most 6-days, with one rest day in each week .

To refuse overtime without fearing contract termination or punishments is free to workers.

All national laws regarding compensation of workers, should be kept.

Withholding of wages for any reason is not allowed.

The national minimum wage,which is enough to meet the basic needs of the workers should at least be given to the workers.

The respective worker must always sign and receive pay slips.

National law on social insurances must be kept at all times.
Discrimination and harassment:

Regards of race, color, caste, nationality, religion, gender, age, sexual orientation or marital status, workers shall never be discriminated against .

Policies are in place to prevent any form of harassment and discrimination in the factory,ensured by the supplier.
Child labor and young workers:

The supplier should have sufficient management systemscorrectly to make sure that no children under 15 years of age are working in production units producing for Complete. Studio. If the law states a higher age, then this must be followed.

Light work and only within normal working hours may only performed by young workers under the age of 18. Suppliers must comply with all local laws concerning young workers.

Working surroundings that are harmful to young workers’ morals or health, dangerous to life, or likely to hamper their normal development must not be provided or next to young workers.
Health and safety
Management system:
-
The sufficient management systems must be ensured by the supplier that health and safety of the workers are never compromised in any decisions taken.

The conduct periodic risk assessments should be taken by the supplier to ensure that all risks are managed and that there is no risk to human life or risks that can cause serious accidents.
Safety:
-
The safe, healthy and clean working environment is needed at all times and sufficient lighting should be provided at all working stations.

Relevant first aid equipment, and legally required a doctor or nurse must be available during working hours.
Fire safety:
-
All facilities producing for Complete. Studio must as a minimum install adequate warning systems, such as fire safety equipment and well-marked exits and escape routes and all local laws regarding fire safety must be kept.

Fire escapes must not be locked or blocked and should be clear for passage at any time.

Fire drills must be conducted on an annual basis.

Supplier shall ensure that electrical installations are settled according to law and the production facility does not have a risk of fire safety.
Chemical handling:

According to law, all chemicals and hazardous materials must be safely handled, transported and disposed.

When handling chemicals, workers should be trained and should always be provided sufficient protective equipment.

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) should be provided for all chemicals on site.
Dormitories, kitchens and dining rooms:

Dormitories must be placed in buildings separate to the production building.

Dormitories must have sufficient living and storage space for workers.

All required health and safety as well as fire safety precautions must be placed in Dormitories, Kitchens and Dining areas.
Environmental protection:

National environmental laws and regulations must be complied with at all times.

To take the responsibility of the usage of water, and dispose wastewater according to the law.

All emissions,produced during production and treated according to law should be monitored by the suppliers.

Solid waste should always be handled and disposed of concerning local law.
Chemicals:

Suppliers must follow the requirements on documentationin accordance to Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC-list) in articles imported to the EU.
Anti-corruption:

Suppliers shall work against corruption in all forms.

Suppliers should establish adequate processes to avoid corrupt practices. Such processes should support and be in line with the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
Animal Welfare:

Studio products derived from animals, should be produced with the highest principle of the welfare of the animals. Supplier should guarantee that animals are treated based on animal welfare laws and international recommendations.
Monitoring, evaluation and our engagement
Responsibility to one or more management representatives with the responsibility and authority must be assigned by suppliers to ensure compliance with this Code of Conduct.
All production units shall have access to audits at any moment if requested by Complete. Studio. In the case where we require an audit of the facility, an independent third-party auditing company of our choice can represent us. Appropriate records to demonstrate compliance with the requirements of this Code of Conduct shall be maintained by Suppliers. Records shall be available to Complete. Studio upon request.
Where instances of non-compliance are detected during supplier visits, a fixed period to remediate the findings will be available to suppliers. In the event of failure to remediate, Complete. Studio is willing to engage in a constructive dialogue with suppliers in order to develop and implement action plans with appropriate time scales for implementation and improvements to be achieved.
Complete. Studio does not operate with a passed/failed policy and terminating a business relationship will only be the last instance. However, Complete. Studio will not cooperate with a supplier if compliance with the terms of this Code of Conduct is deemed impossible and no willingness or ability will be shown by the supplier to improve. If the supplier is willing to work with us on continuous improvements, Complete. Studio is also willing to have a win-win situation with the supplier.
Complete. Studio makes a promise to pay suppliers according to the mutual agreement and to only cancel productions if both parties have agreed to this.
Suppliers commit to be honest and open to develop in a more sustainable direction together with Complete. Studio, when signing the Code of Conduct.
